Genuine Design Review welcomes pitches that help a curious reader understand a specific design choice, object, image or space. Strong proposals are focused, explain why the subject matters and offer a clear way into it.

What we welcome

Pitch accessible, original work about graphic design, objects, interiors, architecture or design history. We are interested in explainers, thoughtful comparisons, close readings and historical context, especially when the piece gives readers a fresh way to look.

What to include

Send a short outline, the central idea, the intended reader and a note on what information or sources the piece would use. Mention relevant experience only if it helps explain your approach; formal credentials are not required. Please flag any commercial interests connected to the subject.

How to propose it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication. Do not submit someone else's work or material you do not have the right to share.
