Editorial policy
Genuine Design Review aims to make design easier to discuss and understand. We explain what a piece can support, distinguish observation from fact and correct errors openly.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care with names, dates, materials and design terms. Interpretation is presented as interpretation, not as settled fact. When a claim cannot be established with confidence, we qualify it or leave it out.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for relevance to readers, not because a product, designer or organisation asks for coverage. We do not promise favourable treatment in return for access, payment or a partnership.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a misleading passage, contact us with the relevant article and detail. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Any commercial relationship is disclosed where the material appears. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; they are not presented as documentary photographs of real designs or places.
